I always make a point to read diverse books mosty by minority writers. My favorite being asian-american or eurasian, bonus if it’s filipino! But I also try to read native, LGBTQ+, people with disabilies, people on the spectrum, translated, and books that bend genres. I love books that are different, since I read a lot, I can often get bored with books that follow a pattern and become too predictable.
So I made a diversity reading challenge – one book pr month this year and I hope you will follow along so we can raise minority voices!
