Every year we choose a Christmas theme for the house, presents and Holiday card. This year the theme is “Reindeer” and the tones are earthy and calm.

I love the warmth of the theme and how it fits in with any type of interior or color scheme you have in your home. I try to add a few neutral pieces every year, and make sure that they go with everything.

It doesn’t have to cost too much, I hardly spent any money at all. I did my own Holiday card where we dressed up as a reindeer and printed them as pictures, mounted on cardboard. I’ll send the card to friends and family abroad and add it as a to/from note on the gifts I give out. I like to personalize everything if I have the time.
