All stops were pulled out for this one, or so it seemed. I read an interview with Anna Kendrick and she listed it as one of her must read books. I read tweet upon tweet mentioning this book in relation to the future that lies ahead of us. I believe it’s also on a few lists of modern classics or 100 books you should read in your lifetime and more.

Did you see this weeks TIME magazine cover? It draws a relation to the book I’m talking about, and if you haven’t guessed it yet….

I also walked in the women’s march in Norway last weekend and saw a sea of the so-called “pussy hats” and so I though, fine, after all the signs that have been sent to me, it might be a fitting time to read Margaret Atwoods “The handmaids tale.” (I can be a bit spiritual at times).

It was like a treasure hunt to get to this book (which should be in EVERY bookstore) I don’t know if I was lucky or unlucky, but I went to 4 bookstores until I finally found one that had one in store! Yes, I could have ordered it online, I could have had them order it for me, but I am an impatient person and I got a nice walk out of it.

After spending the last hour reading quotes on goodreads and google, I can’t wait!
